This salad is a metaphor for the decline of man

Nøkken - Theodor Kittelsen
The nøkk/näck (water spirit) occurs in scandinavian folklore as a creature that lurks in the marsh waiting for prey. It dons the form of a beautiful woman who plays heavenly melodies on its violin to enchant its target. The gorgeous songs it plays are irrestistible and forces humans to descend into the marsh to their doom.
Musicians are able to approach the nøkk and if so done correctly, they can learn its songs which will make trees dance and cause waterfalls to stop so they can listen.
So I wrote a song about Týr the viking god of war.
The sky is red
Blood will be shed
The end time has come here
Rocks are falling
Steel is clinging
Ragnarok will test all fighters might..
God of war
Lord of steel
The great guider of mens fate!
The wolf of the Battlefield
The Great varg of Ragnarok
By the hand of Ty we shall prevail
This glory will be ours!
Warrior of the skies
Berserkers God of choice
By the Hand of Ty we shall prevail
No battle shall be lost!
Great Ty is here, standing at the gates of Hel
Hells guardian varg, blocks their path into the Deep
Fernrirs master, Bows gracely to the wolf
Then draws his steel and begins his battles charge!
The wolf of the Battlefield
The Great varg of Ragnarok
By the hand of Ty we shall prevail
This glory will be ours!
Warrior of the skies
Berserkers God of choice
By the Hand of Ty we shall prevail
No battle shall be lost!
Garm the giant, the varg of Hel
Dark as the void, with yellow piercing eyes
Ears laid back, drool running from it’s fangs
Ty leaps into the maw, Garm rushes at the steel.
God of war
Lord of steel
The great guider of mens fate!
The wolf of the Battlefield
The Great varg of Ragnarok
By the hand of Ty we shall prevail
This glory will be ours!
Warrior of the skies
Berserkers God of choice
By the Hand of Ty we shall prevail
No battle shall be lost!
Some of y’all mother fuckers on here are beyond needing Jesus, we’re gonna have to go all the way back to Norse Mythology to find the specific pagan God that will fix your shit.
A battle is the shield wall. It’s smelling your enemy’s breath while he tries to disembowel you with an axe, it’s blood and shit and screams and pain and terror. It’s trampling in your friends’ guts as enemies butcher them. It’s men clenching their teeth so hard they shatter them. Have you ever been in a battle?

I love my folk, man. Christian and Pagan. I love them all. It’s wonderful. Two different religions but people of the same blood come from the same roots and are one. If you’re European or European-American, you come from the same motherlands. No matter which religion you follow, you are brothers and sisters by blood and always will be.
Where you believe you go in the afterlife does not determine your true family.
A long time ago, I did not understand things like witches, Pagans, etc. I used to actually fear them at one point. No one had told me anything about who they really were. I had always had a fascination with them but I was also afraid. I used to believe that they did curses and ate people and sacrificed and all sorts of things. I had no clue that they were nothing like that. It took me a long time to finally let go of my fears and dive deep into these ways of life. Finding my ancestry is really what started a lot of that. I learned about my people and I wanted to go beyond the time of “civilization”. I wanted to know who they were before that. It became inevitable that I learn about the Pagans. Once I did, I realized that they weren’t these brutish demons I had seen on t.v. They were these nature people. While they believed in different Gods, they loved the nature my God created. Many times I see people worship things in the name of God that are material items but never the things God gave to us as gifts!
How sad is it that God has given us so many beautiful things in nature and animals and yet we destroy them. But at the same time, we worship our man-made creations in his name. God does not care about these man-made things. He cares about the natural things. Do people believe that God will reward the wealthy man who bestows a crown of jewels in his name or the natural man who lays a humble gift made of branches at his feet? Jesus was no wealthy man. Jesus was humble, hung out with those scorned by society and was homeless. Jesus went on vision quests in the forests and mountains in search of his spirituality and bond with God. Jesus did not ask for riches. He asked for love. Perhaps the condemnation of worshiping false idols is God’s way of saying he does not want us worshiping these false, man-made objects. We respect our t.v.s, cars and mansions more than our fellow human and especially more than God. It is truly pathetic.
Pagans are not these evil people and witches do not live in candy houses and eat children. Christians and Pagans have had it out for a long time and I believe it’s time to bond with nature and have love as both of our religions preach.
